Baltimore Transportation
For transportation, we suggest using Baltimore’s light rail train system. The train stops across the street from the Baltimore Convention Center. Parking your car in one of the many light rail lots is FREE and tickets to ride the rail are less than parking downtown.
You may want to use one of the many commuter lots to park your car. Then you can either carpool downtown or take a commuter bus. (Click here for MTA bus schedule)
An express bus that comes in from the Catonsville Park and Ride that goes right by the Convention Center on weekdays – parking is free at the park n’ ride lot at MD166 and MD195.

Other suggestions to make your stay more enjoyable
We suggest staying with a host family to make your lodging the most affordable.
Another affordable lodging suggestion would be to stay at one of the hotels
with whom we have pre-arranged discounts. One of these hotels is close enough
to walk to the EXPO. The other provides shuttle service to the light rail,
which can then transport you directly to the Convention Center. Please
check with the hotels for specific information. Click here for Lodging.
PLEASE BE ADVISED that hotels in Baltimore will fill up quickly during June; in particular, the dates of June 27-June 29 for highly-attended baseball games at Camden Yards (which is across the street from the Convention Center). Please take advantage of the discounts and availability we have arranged with hotels for the EXPO while they are available.
